Food Works is run by three government agencies, Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland and Teagasc, who have worked together since 2012 to support innovative food businesses in Ireland. So far, Food Works has helped more than 60 Irish food entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
The previous Food Works website was built in-house and lacked essential functionality. Working with with Enterprise Ireland, BordBia and Teagasc, our team created a fresh, clean and modern website with a members only area and an online recruitment system.
Following the discovery process and using the already-existing logo and branding guidelines, some of our creative team met with the Food Works team to design the new website. Our development team suggested structure solutions to maximise user interaction according to information gathered from Google Analytics.
To garner more brand awareness and evoke a greater sense of community across the Food Works network, our developers created a custom members only area. The new membership system allowed participants to share events, news and key documents with their peers.
To streamline the applications process, our developers created a custom online recruitment system. The new system enables interested entrepreneurs to join the network easily and allows Enterprise Ireland staff to quickly and simply process each application.
As with all our web projects, we provided full website management training with staff so they could easily manage the website themselves.
