How retargeting advertising works
Retargeting adverts are designed to appear to those visitors that don’t convert on their first visit, reminding them of your brand and encouraging them to return to your site and spend with you.
Retargeting works by ‘following’ your visitor around the rest of the web as they browse. Our retargeting code (or pixel) sees a new visitor to your website and drops an anonymous browser cookie on their computer. When they go to browse other websites, the cookie knows and shows them adverts for your website, encouraging them to sign up for your services or complete a purchase.
